III. KNOWN ISSUES
=====================

Saved Games are not compatible with Upgrade Mk2. This is due to the signalling and route updates provided. These will not be deleted, but instead renamed
so that you can copy them into pre-Mk2 installed copies of Rail Simulator if you wish.

There is a known issue with the Scenario - All Messed Up - that comes with the Class 08 Shunter Addon. A fix is provided for free on www.railsimulator.com

Any Rail Simulator Addon purchased BEFORE the August 2008 may not be compatible if installation is attempted after applying Upgrade Mk2. We therefore
recommend that if you have to carry out a re-installation of Rail Simulator, you apply Upgrade Mk1, THEN install your Addons, and finally install Upgrade Mk2.
This particularly applies to the Newcastle-York Addon from RSDL and Just Trains.

Goedendag GerJan

Groeten De Generaal

Upgrade MK2 missing track fix
« Reply #4 on: Monday 18 August, 2008, 13:21:41 »
This fix is to cure the missing track bug found at
Ealing Broadway on the Oxford - Paddington route. Please read the installation text. Download link can be found at the bottom of this page.

To install Track Fix:
=======================

*IMPORTANT*
BACKUP all your Rail Simulator routes to a safe location BEFORE installing this fix.

- Open the Content.zip file included
- Note that only 1 file is included in this zip
- Note that the 1 included file is located in the following folder structure:
Content\Routes\00000001-0000-0000-0000-000000000000\Networks\Track Tiles
- Extract the file using 'Stored Paths' to a temporary location, such as your desktop.
- Copy the created 'Content' folder into your main Rail Simulator directory, by default this is:
C:\Program Files\Rail Simulator
- Choose 'YES' to overwrite any files already installed.
- Once finished, start up Rail Simulator, navigate to Ealing Broadway to confirm the missing track is fixed.

- If you wish to manually add the file -000008-000001.bin to your Rail Simulator install, ensure that it goes into the following location:
\Rail Simulator\Content\Routes\00000001-0000-0000-0000-000000000000\Networks\Track Tiles
