Super Video Jan! Schön gemacht, ich kann nicht warten! ;)

Groetjes,
Fabian

Edit: Het probleem is als bij mij de dodeman afgaat, gaat ie om 20 sec ofzo en dat is wel erg veel van het goede.

Hi!,

Yes, "SiFa" is as 008443 said, the "Sicherheitsfahrschaltung". You have to push the "SiFa"-button all 30 seconds.
What NS 4201 means, is the PZB. ("Zugbeeinflussung", or also just " beeeeep"). I also have a voice saying that, but you didn´t hear it in the video ´cause there was no Vr0/Vr2 (two yellow lights/a green and a yellow light). Well the German railwaysafetysystems are not easy to understand, but I think it is the most safety one in europe ;).

Back to MSTS, where no safetysystems are:

I built some objects of Leer:

294 752 passes the old goods depot of Leer.....

...couples the waggons.....

...and drives to the harbour:

Groeten, Jan

Correct me if I'm wrong (anyone), in Holland there is no such thing as a safety system. At least, I have never read of heard about it. Only in the province of Groningen and Friesland there is a safety system; When a train drives (almost) through a red light, the emergency brakes are activated.

To stay ontopic:
I think this is going to be one of prettiest routes for MSTS! Keep up the good work!

Nog even: Nederland kent wel een beveiligingssysteem! Het ATB, je kan in principe nooit harder rijden dan ATB aangeeft en je moet om de 15 seconden een knop in drukken om de ATB niet te laten overgaan tot een noodremming! ;)

Hi,

GTW 2/8 passes the bridge over the river Leda (near Leer):

By the way:
On the second of january, am I again in the area around Groningen. Does anybody know times for the freighttrains to veendam(goederentreins naar veendam op een zaterdag) or do they not drive at saturdays? I would be happy if I can take some photos of those trains between Kropswolde and Zuidbreok and to get ideas for some MSTS-activitys on my route ;)

Groeten Jan

Hi Jan,

The timetabels of freight trains can you find at http://www.rolandrail.net/drgl/54a-tdr07-09-09.pdf
Vdm is the abbreviation of Veendam.

Greets,
Bruno

I like it. :D
You've got some real nice textures, for example the platforms and the tracktextures and of course the grass (The grass is the most important texture for me). :P
But i don't like the harbour, cause i don't like the textures (but this texture is not so necessary). :P

Hi @all!,

Thank you all for your compliments.

@Bruno
Thank you for this document. I hope the ACTS-goederentrein (50044) on saturday drives about 14 o´clock. I don´t want to wait of this train near Sappemeer-Oost to take a photo of it in the train doesn´t appear :P
(Can´t we have in Germany a those kind of timetable for the frightrains?!?..., well, I think it would have about 200 pages of timetables 8))

@mattt
Which textur don´t you like? It´s a scene of 10 seconds to change it ;D
But, don´t worry. You only have to pass the harbour , when you try a frighttrain-activity in Leer ;).

Today, I worked on the "Emsbridge" near Weener. (During the work on it, I thought about an activity where an big ship passes the bridge so you have to stop infront of the bridge. Does any of you know a "Aida-Luna"-ship for MSTS? :P).
That means 11 minutes of the route is now nearly completly ready.

Groeten Jan

I got today a "Langenscheidt: Niederländisch-Deutsch/Deutsch-Niederländisch" so I try to learn more dutch

I don't like the concrete texture, cause its all black or grey ( not meant in a negative). :P

Hi!,

what I think most difficult to create on MSTS-Editor is the countryside between Zuidbroek (NL) and Ihrhove (G) because I need many ideas what I build in the background. At some other routes I built until now, I could put in the background some treewalls or small mountains. But between Zuidbroek und Ihrhove are not many forests and of cause no mountains :P.
Well, I tried my best and ask you what you think of it when I just place some trees, bushes and houses? I think it looks a bit empty....

Near Nieuweschans:
